WhatsApp Account Security

Keep your account safe while running campaigns

Enable Two-Step Verification

Go to WhatsApp Settings → Account → Two-step verification. Add a 6-digit PIN so even if someone gets your SIM, they can't access your account.

Never Share Your OTP

Kruve will never ask for your WhatsApp OTP or verification code. Anyone asking for it is attempting to hijack your account.

Control Who Sees Your Status

Set your WhatsApp Status privacy to 'My Contacts' or a custom list. Avoid 'Everyone' to reduce exposure to unknown numbers.

Use a Trusted Device

Don't log into your WhatsApp account on shared or public devices when managing your Kruve earnings and submissions.

Warning Signs of Fraud

If you see any of these, do not engage — report immediately.

Someone claiming to be from Kruve asking for your EcoCash PIN or password
Messages promising to 'boost' your view count for a fee
Requests to submit views for a campaign not listed in your official dashboard
WhatsApp messages with unofficial-looking Kruve links asking you to 'verify' your account
Offers to pay you outside of the Kruve platform directly via EcoCash

Submit accurate view counts
Upload clear, unedited screenshots as proof
Keep the status live for the full 24-hour window
Use your real EcoCash number for withdrawals
Inflating or fabricating view counts
Submitting the same screenshot for multiple campaigns
Creating multiple accounts to earn duplicate rewards
Sharing or selling your account access

How to Report a Safety Issue

  1. 1Go to your Earner Dashboard and click the 'Support' tab.
  2. 2Select 'Fraud' as the category.
  3. 3Describe the incident in detail — include screenshots if possible.
  4. 4Our team will review within 24 hours and take action.
